The Master of Science in Project Management is an online project management degree from Walden University.  This degree provides students with the business, communication, and leadership skills needed to oversee projects and diverse teams as you help your organization achieve its strategic goals.  Courses teach students to produce project management outputs using the organizations’ established practices for conducting projects, to develop project-based solutions to business problems, and to manage projects from start to finish that meet stakeholder requirements and achieve the objectives of the project.  You will learn to synthesize the threats and opportunities of environmental factors into the creation of risk management plans and to evaluate any social change impact on social, economic, and environmental factors that contribute to sustainability in project management.  As you gain the essential management and technical expertise to lead a range of projects in your organization, you will complete such courses as:
  • Practices in Project Management
  • Project Scheduling
  • Budgeting and Management of Operations
  • Enterprise and Project Risk Management
  • Planning and Administering Project Contracts
