School Details

Vincennes University is a public university located on a 160-acre campus in Vincennes, Indiana. VU was originally founded as Jefferson Academy in 1801, and is Indiana’s oldest public institution of higher learning. VU is Indiana’s premier transfer university, and is a leader in innovative career programming. VU offers academic programs not only lead to certificates and degrees, but also offer cultural and community service opportunities in a diverse, student focused, academic environment. VU is widely recognized for leadership in innovation and for delivering successful educational experiences. VU plays an important role in Indiana’s cultural and economic vitality and a wide variety of programs and commitment to excellent service ensure this role.

Vincennes University also houses the College of Extended Studies that provides online programming for added flexibility. Students have the opportunity to pursue Associate’s and Bachelor’s degrees, in addition to fulfilling online general education coursework and special interest classes. VU allows students to complete all or a majority of coursework online for degrees.
