Program Details

Upper Iowa University offers the online MPA with a concentration in Healthcare Management. This program is designed to equip public administrators (aspiring and seasoned) with the skills and knowledge needed to manage public policy in the political and legal environment. The curriculum, framed by the public values of democracy, diversity, and due process, focuses on leadership and management, meaningful participation in the policy process, engaging a diverse citizenry, and improving decision making.

This Health & Human Services emphasis is designed to provide students with specialized knowledge of the issues and challenges facing leaders in health and human services organizations. The curriculum includes the following courses to choose from:

  • Must have a baccalaureate degree from an institution accredited by an agency that is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation
