Program Details

The Bachelor of Arts in Sociology is an online sociology degree completion program from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside for students who have already completed some of the required coursework through an associate degree or an unfinished four-year degree.  This program provides students with a convenient way to finish their degree and gain the knowledge and skills needed for a variety of careers in social services, community work, corrections, business, college settings, health services, journalism, government, and more.  The curriculum focuses on the scientific study of people interacting with each other from various perspectives, including nations interacting with each other, organizations interacting, or the study of small group behaviors.  Students will gain an understanding of the theories and methods used in sociology and the substantive areas to which these are applied.  You will complete courses in each of these areas of specialization:
