Program Details

University of West Georgia offers an online Master of Education with a major in Special Education and Teaching. The program offers an education to students who are seeking state certification to teach students in grades P-12 with disabilities. Principles and techniques are taught so students can prepare to teach their students with special learning needs.

Requirements

  • Complete requirements for a Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
  • Present a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher on all undergraduate work
  • A current renewable certificate in Special Education
  • A personal statement of purpose
