Learn principles for emotional regulation and positive relationships with an EdS in Curriculum and Instruction specializing in Social and Emotional Learning. In this program, you will gain skills to teach SEL principles, plan lesson topics, and apply SEL techniques to yourself.

Through SEL, students will learn how to recognize and manage their emotions. With this foundation, they can work on setting and reaching goals, showing empathy for others, building positive relationships, and making responsible choices. Courses address ways to apply SEL to students with varying needs, such as issues involving stress, diversity, English language learners, gifted students, and more.
