Program Details

The online Master of Public Health is an interdisciplinary degree that provides education and training for professionals in any field who want to strengthen their general knowledge and skills in public health.  Students will specifically strengthen their knowledge and skills in public health while also completing a concentration in Leadership, Professionalism, or Health Policy and Management. 

Courses prepare students in these core competencies:

  • Public Health Knowledge and Skills
  • Integration of Theory and Practice
  • Communication and Informatics
  • Diversity and Culture
  • Professionalism


  • Must hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution
  • Must have an advanced degree OR currently enrolled in a master’s or doctoral program other than an MPH OR three or more years of work experience in the health professions
  • Official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended
  • GRE, GMAT, or MCAT test scores (waived for eligible applicants with advanced degrees)
  • Three evaluation letters
  • Personal Statement
  • Current resume or CV
