Program Details

By obtaining the online Master of Science in Space Studies, students can prepare for careers in space with a broad approach that links science, engineering, and policy. This is the first space studies program of its kind. This online program can be completed in two to four years. 

Courses include, but are not limited to:

  • Space Law
  • Human Spaceflight Systems
  • Human Performance in Extreme Environments

There are many career opportunities for graduates, including jobs in orbital mechanics, technical writing, astronomy, propulsion systems, systems engineering, project management, space policy, and more. Job titles include Aerospace Business Creator, Mission Controller, Space Scientist, STEM Educator, Space Systems Operator, Systems Engineer, and others. Graduates will be ready to embark on new exciting careers in the aerospace industry.
