Program Details

The online Master of Science in Geographic Information Science is a flexible way to earn an advanced education in geospatial data science. The curriculum focuses on geospatial training and technical skills. The graduate internship course prepares students for relevant, practical work experience. 

Classes include, but are not limited to: 

  • Geographic Research and Writing
  • Applied Project Management
  • Field Methods and Analysis in Geography 

Students can access materials on their own time at their own pace, while still having structure and deadlines. Graduates can pursue careers such as cartographers, environmental planners, GIS developers, environmental consultants, spatial data scientists, and more. Graduates will have the right skills and training to succeed in geographic information science.
