Program Details

The online Certificate in Agricultural Business program provides a broad understanding of marketing techniques, livestock and grain commodities, financing, and economics of agriculture.  Students gain valuable information and skills regardless of whether they work in lending, consulting, sales, or run their own business.  Courses may include:

  • Professional Agriselling 
  • Farm Business Management 
  • Agricultural Finance and Valuation 
  • Grain and Livestock Marketing
  • Principles of Marketing


  • Successful completion of a high school or college preparatory program
  • Grade point average; grades in academic coursework (avg. g.p.a 2.0)
  • ACT or SAT scores (minimum 21 ACT or 980 SAT)
  • Strength of the student’s curriculum through high school graduation, including courses that exceed the core subject requirements and any advanced courses (honors, AP, IB, college level)
