Program Details

The online Master of Science in Geological Engineering program prepares students to work in the professional discipline that relies on the use of geologic conditions and implications to design and construct civil and mining projects, evaluate and mitigate natural and human-caused geologic hazards, and explore and develop mineral and energy resources.  The curriculum uses a combination of courses in areas such as geological engineering, civil engineering or soil mechanics, hydrogeology, and site characterization.  The program is available with either a thesis or non-thesis option.
