University of Georgia

Program Details

Enroll in this instructional design degree online and advance professional opportunities. In modern society, it is hard if not impossible to escape technology. The education field is no different and this program helps students use emerging technologies and media to develop instruction tools and support materials for learning environments. Using a holistic approach to learning, this online instructional design degree program includes coursework in instructional design for areas within education, but also within business, healthcare, military, and other fields.

You will learn to use media creation tools and technology to create eLearning models, video presentations, and more as you learn to design such approaches as games, simulations, and educational multimedia to help develop meaningful learning experiences.

Students in this program benefit from a cohort structure, moving through the program with the same group of peers, networking and collaborating with one another. A studio approach in courses provides “scaffold instruction,” supporting students through various design activities.
