Program Details

The online Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering program is designed to meet the various needs of engineering students working in a corporate environment.  The program develops high caliber skills and problem-solving capabilities particularly related to dynamics, control, and robots.  Courses are organized into three main areas:

  • Dynamics, Systems and Control
  • Solid Mechanics, Design and Manufacturing
  • Thermal Sciences and Fluid Dynamics


  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or in aerospace engineering, or closely related engineering discipline from an ABET accredited program
  • Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 (4.0 scale)
  • GRE test scores
  • Official transcripts
  • Three letters of recommendation
