The online Master of Science in Forest Resources & Conservation with a concentration in Ecological Restoration is a science-based program designed to address the national need for individuals trained in this field. The curriculum equips students with the skills and science-based principles that are transportable from one system to another as they train to develop and implement restoration projects. Students will learn to look above and beyond the technical details and to include historical, social, cultural, political, aesthetic, and moral aspects through the program’s technical courses. Graduates are prepared for careers as future resource managers, environmental scientists, and restoration ecologists or to work in agencies and private companies involved in ecological restoration and environmental science.
