Program Details

University of Florida offers an online Master of Education in Reading Education. This program explores many different areas of reading, literacy, writing, and language. Students learn about linguistic diversity in elementary and secondary education and how to incorporate best practices into their curriculum development.


  • Bachelors or equivalent degree from a regionally accredited university
  • A minimum grade point average of 3.0 for all upper-division (the last 60 credits) undergraduate work
  • An acceptable score on the GRE
  • Three letters of recommendation from university faculty
