The online Graduate Certificate in Arts in Public Health was designed to enable graduate students and professionals in public health, the arts, and other health and human services professions to engage the arts to increase health literacy and promote healthy lifestyles. Courses help students examine the many ways in which the arts can be used to enhance health education and community engagement. Students also develop professional skills such as program planning, assessment, and interdisciplinary partnership and collaboration.
- Completed a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited school
- A minimum of one year of professional experience as an artist or administrator in the field of Arts in Medicine or completion of prerequisite course or summer intensive at UF
- Submission of official transcripts, essay, CV or resume, and letters of recommendation
