Program Details
The online Graduate Certificate in Forest Health & Resilience program addresses the current and emerging threats to forest health and the ecological, social, and economic importance of forest health. The multidisciplinary curriculum provides students with the management tools needed to enhance forest resilience and minimize the impacts of forest health threats. Graduates are able to diagnose tree health using established methodologies, analyze the occurrence of insect and pathogen outbreaks and the abiotic drivers responsible for dying trees, and formulate management recommendations for preventing, intervening, and restoring a forest in response to a disturbance or an insect or pathogen outbreak.
