Program Details

UConn’s online Master of Science in Nursing offers a specialization in Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for nurses interested in providing advanced care for adults with acute and complex health needs. Graduates will have expert clinical skills and the knowledge to manage the increasingly complex care of the aging population. After completing this online adult nurse practitioner program, nurses are eligible to apply for national certification through the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioners learn a variety of vital skills allowing them to:
