Prepare your community with resilience in the face of adversity with the skills you gain from this online Master of Criminal Justice in Disasters, Hazards, and Emergency Management. This graduate program prepares you to become a leader in preparing for, mitigating, and responding to natural and manmade disasters of all types.

Core courses are designed to strengthen students’ skills in critical thinking, research, and leadership. In this concentration, students will learn about public policies regarding hazards and disasters. Additionally, students can choose to take one, two, or all three of the following courses:

  • Public Service in Emergency Management and Homeland Security
  • Principles of Emergency Management
  • Planning for Disasters and Climate Change
