The University of Colorado Boulder and the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs jointly offer an online Graduate Certificate in Electric Drivetrain Technology. The program is designed for professionals involved in power electronics, battery controls, and/or automotive industries who may not wish to pursue a master's degree, but desire to increase their professional capability and enhance career advancement opportunities.
This program requires 12 credits for completion.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university, or Bachelor's degree in a closely related engineering discipline from an accredited university and two years of experience working in a related field
- Overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or better
- Evidence of mathematical maturity equivalent to completion of the following university-level coursework: Calculus III, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Physics III (calculus based), General Chemistry I, Circuits II, Electronics I, and Linear Systems
