Program Details

The online Certificate in Victim Advocacy program prepares professionals in various fields to work with and advocate for crime victims.  The curriculum offers a theoretical and practical knowledge base in victim advocacy and is useful for students in the criminal justice, nursing, sociology, and social work departments.  The required courses include:

  • Victims and the CJ System 
  • Women and Crime 
  • Domestic Violence and the Justice System
  • Older Adults and the Criminal Justice System

Requirements
