School Details

Established as a junior college in 1928, University of Arkansas in Fort Worth expanded in size and vision over the years, finally taking on its current name and identity as a premier regional university when it joined the University of Arkansas System in 2002. The mission of UAFS is “to prepare students to succeed in an ever-changing global world while advancing economic development and quality of place.”

UAFS offers associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees, as well as certificates from the following colleges and schools:

  • College of Applied Science and Technology
  • College of Business
  • College of Communication, Languages, Arts and Social Sciences
  • School of Graduate Studies
  • College of Health Sciences
  • College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics
  • School of Education

Online courses are available inside every college through the Distance Learning department.
