Program Details
University of Arkansas at Little Rock offers an online Master of Education in Reading. With a reading degree, students can become highly educated on different areas of reading skill and develops strategies for working with children on different levels of reading. Students can pursue 3 different pathways with this degree; a standard degree, reading specialist, or reading specialist and dyslexia therapist degree combination.
Requirements
- A valid teaching license
- Hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 (or at least 3.0 for the last 60 hours of undergraduate course work), or at least a 3.0 GPA in 12 or more hours of graduate course work
- Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities
- Two letters of recommendation
- Recommendation and interview with Reading Program Faculty
