Program Details
With the online Master of Ministry offered by United Theological Seminary, you will grow spiritually through historical, theological and biblical studies. The knowledge that you gain in this graduate program can be used towards a doctoral program, preparing for Methodist deaconship or ordination in a denomination that does not require a doctoral degree. United Theological Seminary offers a flexible learning platform whereby you can attend classes virtually should your schedule permit, or, you can stream recorded classes and complete classwork independently. Coursework focuses on these areas:
- Biblical studies
- Church history and theology
- Practical theology
- Contextual ministry
Requirements
- Requires a one-week intensive on campus, United Methodist students must attend Gathering Weeks (2-3 per year) on campus
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
