Program Details

Truckee Meadows offers an online AA in Political Science if you plan to major in a subject related to government or politics at a 4-year institution.  You’ll study power, authority, representation and ethics within governments.  Your analytical skills will grow, as you explore the impact of war, peace, the environment and other factors on the political process. You can complete these first two years of general education credits with a political science focus, and then transfer to a university to pursue your BA.  In addition to a foreign language, coursework will likely include: 

• International Relations
• Comparative Politics
• American Public Policy
