Program Details

Troy University offers an online foreign language degree, the Bachelor of Science in Interpreter Training Program.  With this degree in foreign language students focus on American Sign Language.  You will complete a curriculum that features various forms of interpreting and interpreting in a variety of locations or conditions while helping you become proficient in American Sign Language and English Linguistics.  Students will learn about the deaf culture and community, discourse analysis, professional identity, and ethical considerations while focusing on interpreting techniques and settings.
