Touro University Nevada is a health science center serving the greater Las Vegas area, consisting of two colleges: the College of Osteopathic Medicine and the College of Health and Human Services. Touro University Nevada is a branch campus of the Touro College and University System, which was established in New York City by Bernard Lander, PhD, LHD, as a Jewish-sponsored independent institution of higher and professional education primarily to enrich the Jewish heritage, and serve the larger American community. Touro University Nevada, in keeping with its mission and relationship to its Jewish sponsorship, prides itself on its Judaic foundation and the values that this represents: commitment to social justice, intellectual pursuit, and service to humanity. Touro University Nevada is open to students of all backgrounds and faiths, but in keeping with our heritage, the university observes the traditional Jewish calendar.
Touro University Nevada awards bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in such healthcare subjects as physical therapy, occupational therapy, and nursing. Nursing degrees at all levels can be earned online through the Distance Education program, as well as a Master of Education degree.
