Program Details

The online Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction program prepares educators to enhance their teaching careers with specialized knowledge and pedagogy by providing advanced curriculum and instruction coursework with an emphasis on diversity and technology.  The degree structure allows students to focus on a professional cognate area that matches their interests and backgrounds, including the 100% online areas of STEM Education, Academic Coaching, and English.  Graduates are prepared to be instructors of high school dual credit/junior college level courses.


  • Hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Possess or in the process of obtaining teacher certification (any field)
  • Official transcripts from undergraduate and graduate institutions attended
  • Official scores on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) – This can be waived if the last 60 hours of undergraduate work is a 3.25 or higher
