Enroll in this online foreign language degree and advance professional opportunities. There is a growing need for American Sign Language (ASL) teachers in K-12 schools. Gain the knowledge and skills needed to help meet this need.  

These online teaching degrees are designed for licensed teachers who can demonstrate an advanced or higher level on the Sign Language Proficiency Inventory (SLPI) or a 3+ or higher on the American Sign Language Proficiency Interview (ASLPI). Graduates of this program add on an ASL Education PreK-12 teaching endorsement. However, if your goal is to teach ASL at the post-secondary level, the curriculum can be customized for you as well.
