About The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary
Founded in 1859, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary is the oldest of the seminaries of the Southern Baptist Convention. It is located in Greenville, South Carolina. The seminary moved to Louisville, Kentucky, in 1877 and to its present campus on Lexington Road in 1926.
