The Teacher Education concentration is designed to meet the needs of educational practitioners, curriculum development specialists, assessment and evaluation specialists, and those planning on continuing toward an educational research and Ph.D. degree. All students complete a community outreach experience as a capstone course where they work with an educational partner to understand community needs and develop an action plan to try and address those needs.
