Program Details

Texas State University online offers a Master of Social Work degree with an Advanced Standing to the working adult student.  This track is designed for graduates of a Council on Social Work Education-Accredited BSW program, having earned that credential within the last ten years.  Students may take on a part-time or full-time online schedule. 

The Advanced Standing track requires studies in social policy and justice, diagnostic assessment, advanced intervention, and more.  Students will also be required to complete advanced practicum courses.  This flexible and challenging Texas State online master’s program will enhance professional standing, academic success, and personal fulfillment in the field of social work.
