As one of three concentrations within the Master of Education from TSU that confers licensure, the Master of Education in Special Education (Interventionist, K-8) offers options for licensure or adding certification to an existing license. For both tracks, students must pass a comprehensive exam.
This online special education master’s degree program prepares educators with a multicultural perspective. Graduates find employment serving disabled students as classroom teachers. Other employers include the following:
