The Master of Music in Music Education is an online music education degree from SUNY Buffalo State.  This program is designed for in-service music teachers with initial Teaching Certificates who wish to become accomplished reflective educators.  The holistic curriculum offers educators advanced coursework and experiences that challenge them both pragmatically and intellectually while also preparing them for the structures, decisions, rigors, and opportunities found in urban and rural music education.  This online teaching degree features coursework in music history, music theory, music education, and more, in a program committed to excellence in both music studies and music teacher preparation.  Coursework covers the methodologies, knowledge, scholarship, skills, passion, and discipline needed to teach, appreciate, and analyze music at the highest possible level of artistry and communication.  Graduates will have the advanced learning that develops professional-level musical skills and understanding and that allows them to explore innovative and advanced approaches to:
