Program Details

Stanly Community College offers an online Certificate program in Human Services with a concentration in Developmental Disabilities to the working adult student.  This program is designed for those pursuing career enhancement to be flexible in scheduling.  Students will explore topics in program planning, issues in human services, teaching, and more.

Students may participate in fieldwork options and discover applicable methods and techniques of theoretical knowledge.  Explore the history, roles, careers, and agencies in the human services field.  Graduates with this certificate may go on to pursue positions in mental health, education, social services, and other agencies and facilities upon completing this SCC online human services program.
