The online Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Assessment program is designed for professionals who are aspiring to be assessment and institutional effectiveness experts who affect the institution’s success and achievement through purpose, scholarship, and community.  The curriculum provides scholarly expertise in current innovative research and best practices in learner-centered curriculum and instructional design, instructional strategies, program evaluation, and student assessment.  While many programs concentrate on curriculum and instruction, this emphasizes assessment, concentrating on teaching and learning through assessment along with determining the quantitative and qualitative outcomes that can improve strategies and programs in an outcomes-based climate.
