Program Details

Southern California Seminary offers the Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, a degree that is designed to prepare students for individual, marriage, family, or child counseling in vocational, church, private, or institutional settings.

The degree offers the following tracks:

  • Licensure Track – for students to be licensed in California as a Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
  • Non-Licensure Track – for students who want to gain the counseling skills and learn the scientific research provided by psychology without desiring licensure

A bachelors degree is required.
