The Certificate in Swine Science program is designed to ensure that the pork industry is led and managed by individuals who have broad educational and production experiences which have prepared them for these roles. The curriculum teaches scientific principles and management skills involved in pork production for an efficient and sustainable operation.
This program is offered through the Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Alliance (Great Plains IDEA); regionally accredited schools working in partnership to provide students with online opportunities. Students apply at their school of choice.
