About Sofia University
Founded by Rober Frager in 1975, Sofia University originally centered on graduate studies in transpersonal psychology. This is the full range of function that humans can experience, from the most negative (e.g., trauma) to the most positive (e.g., creative genius). In line with this philosophy, Sofia encourages students to focus on six different aspects of inquiry in life: intellectual, emotional, spiritual, physical, social and creative.
This private, northern California institution is dedicated to educating professionals that carry an ethical and environmental conscience. Through this transformative education, it maintains a dynamic learning community that is dedicated to excellence. As Sofia prepares to enter its second half of a century, it has enhanced its offerings to align with an ever-changing world. In addition to its founding core of psychology programs, the school has added business programs for a more global focus and added computer science programs to answer the ongoing evolution in technology.
