Program Details

The online Purchasing & Supply Chain Management AAAS degree program from Shoreline Community College is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to enter the supply chain workforce directly upon completion of the program. Graduates are prepared to:

  • Collaborate across an organization, understand and support the organization's policies, and adapt to the ever-changing work environment
  • Utilize supply chain concepts and vocabulary related to sourcing, production, quality, transportation, storage, and negotiation to effectively procure, move, and store goods and services
  • Apply mathematical concepts to conduct price/cost analyses and make appropriate supply chain decisions
  • Apply principles of materials and contract management
  • Establish and maintain systems to track, control, and protect materials and information
  • Apply principles of finance, accounting, international business, logistics, business law, and economics to purchasing and supply chain activities
  • Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing in a variety of business and work environments 

Requirements

This degree program requires 90-91 credits for completion.

  • High school graduate, have earned a General Education Development (GED) certificate, or are at least 18 years of age
