The online MS in Electrical Engineering degree program from Saint Cloud State University prepares students to design systems, components, and processes in a way that takes into consideration realistic constraints as they pursue an emphasis in embedded systems or materials/circuits/sensors. Students develop strong leadership and problem-solving skills working with undergraduate students in power, IC design, EM circuits, communications, and signaling processing courses. Additionally, elective courses are available in physics, mathematics, computer science, economy, and management.

- A baccalaureate degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with a major GPA of at least 3.0 in the last two years
- Provisional admission for students who have undergraduate degrees in technical areas such as mathematics, physics, computer science, and other engineering disciplines may be possible
- Minimum Quantitative GRE score of 155
- Students who score below 4.0 on the analytical writing portion of the GRE are required to complete an approved SCSU English writing course with a grade of C or better
