Program Details

Aligned with the state’s guidelines for a common general education core, is this online AA from Roane State.  The program is intended for a broad base of knowledge, as opposed to a specific occupational or professional focus.  It is offered through the Tennessee eCampus, where the credits that you earn online will likely transfer to other institutions, public and private, and can be used towards a bachelor’s degree.


  • High school transcript or GED test scores
  • Official ACT or SAT scores earned within 3 years of the first day of the semester or term of enrollment
    • Applicants 21 years of age or older may take the COMPASS placement test in lieu of submitting ACT/SAT scores
