Program Details

The Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Nurse Educator prepares nurses for highly sought roles in both clinical and academic education. Coursework for the MSN is offered fully online and is for the professional adult learner who has already obtained RN licensure and a BSN, and is seeking career advancement.

Students will be introduced to pedagogical strategies that develop strong critical thinking and analytical skills. Students will also expand their knowledge with advanced coursework in physiology, pathophysiology, comprehensive health assessment, nursing education, instruction and learning, and clinical practicum. Graduates of this concentration will be eligible to sit for the National League of Nursing's (NLN) Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) exam.
