School Details
In 2014 Purdue University announced a plan to unify the administration of the university’s two northwest Indiana campuses, Purdue Calumet and Purdue North Central. On July 18, 2014, the Purdue Board of Trustees approved Purdue University Northwest as the name of the unified Calumet and North Central campuses. Purdue Northwest is now a comprehensive university enrolling more than 15,000 students, employing more than 1,500 faculty and staff, and offering more than 70 graduate and undergraduate programs of study on two campuses in Hammond and Westville, Indiana.
Purdue Northwest offers bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees, as well as certificate and continuing education programs from eight colleges. It also offers online degrees in nursing. Purdue Northwest online degrees are flexible and feature the same high-quality courses that are found on campus. Faculty are supportive and dedicated to empowering transformational change in students.
