Program Details

Post University offers an online Bachelor of Science in Emergency Management & Homeland Security with a concentration in Cybersecurity & Information Assurance.  This degree is designed for students interested in careers where they can serve and protect the nation and its people from man-made threats.  Students will learn about modern methodologies to combat terrorism and how to make plans to respond to threats and disasters, both natural and man-made.  However, with this concentration, the focus is on man-made emergencies and threats, especially those involving the internet, information technology, and cyber intruders.  The curriculum provides knowledge and skills to help protect and secure information from cyber threats and intruders, teaching students to recognize threats and vulnerabilities as they become the first line of defense against hackers, malware, and other cyber threats.
