Pinnacle Career Institute was founded in 1958 as Electronics Institute. In 1992 the school was bought by new owners and in 2002 they changed the name to what it is currently. Pinnacle Career Institute operates with the mission "to empower our students to better their lives and to contribute positively to the organizations and communities in which they work and live." Pinnacle Career Institute’s main campus is located South Kansas City, Missouri.
Pinnacle Career Institute provides associate's degrees and certificates and is classified as a public, two-year institution. And there are many programs offered entirely online. The school also offers a unique “boot camp” approach to some programs, which allows students to complete the program in a much faster time.
