Pfeiffer University is a private liberal arts university affiliated with the United Methodist Church that was founded in 1885 from the Oberlin Home and School. After much growth and several name changes, in 1996 Pfeiffer gained university status. Today All students take part in a unique four-year mentoring program called Pfeiffer Journey that contributes to ensuring students are prepared for life academically, spiritually, and relationally.
This school, which remains strongly linked to the United Methodist Church, offers undergraduate and graduate degrees. It offers courses through a distance learning program, as well as bachelor’s degree completion programs and graduate degrees and certificates that can be earned entirely online.
