Take the first steps towards a rewarding career of helping others with Penn Foster Career School’s Home Health Aide career diploma program. Our Home Health Aide program can help you gain the knowledge and skills valuable for a number of different settings – whether it’s a private home, hospice agency, or within a community setting.
Our Home Health Aide program aligns to and exceeds the minimum Federal requirements for Home Health Aide training, and includes a required externship that allows students to gain valuable hands-on experience under the supervision of a trained professional.
Students are required to perform a 40-hour externship prior to completing this program. It is the student’s responsibility to ultimately find and secure the externship at a site in their area.
