Program Details

You can choose your focus within reading and literacy with the Master of Education in Language & Literacy from Park University. This online reading and literacy master’s degree offers two concentrations:

• Master of Education in Language and Literacy for English Language Learners (ELL), and
• Master of Education in Language and Literacy for Reading Certification

The two concentration areas offer vastly different career opportunities. You can choose the one that best aligns with your professional goals. 

The ELL track meets the standards of several ELL and TESOL associations. Likewise, the Reading track aligns with the standards of several reading-oriented associations.

As a fully online program, the reading and literacy graduate degree follows an eight-week course format. While the program does not lead to initial teacher certification, current educators can earn an additional certificate.
