The online Graduate Certificate in Urban Forestry program prepares students with the knowledge and skills to address complex urban natural resource issues at nation, state, or local levels. The curriculum prepares students to think both scientifically and strategically as they learn to effectively apply the principles of urban forestry, green infrastructure, planning, policy, management, and leadership to the management of urban forests and urban forestry programs. Graduates will be able to advance their urban forestry programs, address critical natural resource challenges such as climate change and invasive species, and make cities more livable by effectively capitalizing on the benefits that urban trees provide.
